Tasting Note
The 2023 Calrossie Vineyard Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc delivers on all the hallmark traits that Marlborough Sauvignon is famous for; intense aromatics, fresh fruit flavours and a juicy, lingering acidity. This is the first Calrossie Sauvignon, and not from the Calrossie Vineyard, but rather the Rose and Linklater Family Vineyards, where the vineyards were selected for its similarity in soil type. This wine is a beautiful example of Marlborough’s quintessential drop and will drink well from now but continue to reveal more with time through to late 2025.
