Tan in a Tube Face & Body is a natural self-tanning lotion designed for both face and body. It provides a natural-looking, sun-kissed tone without added harmful chemicals. Maximum colour is obtained after using the product 2-3 days in a row. The desired shade will depend on the amount of pigment in your skin.The natural active ingredient Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is a tried and tested substance which has been used in self-tanning products since the 1950s. DHA is a carbohydrate that reacts to oxygen in the air and proteins in the skin?s outer layer, similarly to when you take a bite out of an apple and leave it until it turns brown. Unlike some chemical tanning agents, the colour does not penetrate into the skin but remains on the surface.

Directions:Before starting to use Tan in a Bottle, cleanse and exfoliate your skin. Remember that dry skin is more absorbent to tan. To avoid dark patches on dry areas, such as knees and elbows, moisturise them with our Body Lotion before applying Tan In A Bottle. This will help you achieve a more even, natural-looking colour. For application to the face blend the product thinly into the hairline and the eyebrows. You can also add a small amount to your daily face moisturiser for a more gentle sun-kissed glow. Do not forget to wash your hands following application. It may take up to eight hours for the full extent of the tan to reveal itself. The resulting colour can be described as a natural sun-kissed glow. To achieve a deeper tan, repeat the application several days in a row then apply Tan In A Bottle every four to five days, to maintain the tan.
