Runholder Chardonnay 2023

Te Kairanga Runholder Chardonnay 2022 is a nod to Martinborough’s pioneering namesake John Martin, who once farmed the land with sheep, earning him the name of ‘Runholder’. This wine is handcrafted from the very best vineyard parcels sourced from Te Kairanga’s home vineyards planted on his original land holdings. Fragrant savoury notes mingle together with soft oak, cashew, stone fruits and nougat. The palate is full, with mouth filling texture, weight and concentration of flavour. Barrel fermentation gives texture and complexity with underlying ripe fruit core. Enjoy with Pad Thai or a hearty thai dish.
