In 1992, there were only a handful of producers making single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir; Foxes Island was one of them. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are both made using the indigenous yeast that live in the vineyard to ferment the juice. The indigenous yeasts impart a genuinely unique identity, that can only come from one place, the Belsham Awatere Estate. The wines are elegant, impeccably balanced and oh so delicious.
