Polynesian Spa is New Zealand's original and iconic geothermal bathing experience, with exclusive access to both acidic and alkaline natural mineral springs, and unique spa therapies for the ultimate rest and relaxation.

Polynesian Spa’s geothermal mineral waters are sourced from two natural springs and feed into 28 hot mineral pools. The slightly acidic Priest Spring waters relieve aches and pains while the alkaline waters of the Rachel Spring nourish skin.

Embrace nature’s sanctuary and slip into five mineral hot pools overlooking Lake Rotorua. Designed to be both relaxing and social, the Deluxe Lake Spa welcomes families, allowing supervised children to enjoy the pools alongside other guests. For a quieter soak, visiting in the morning before peak hours is recommended, with the sunrise over Sulphur Bay offering a spectacular view.

Entry to the Deluxe Lake Spa includes:

• Four shallow Rachel Spring alkaline mineral hot pools
• One Priest Spring acidic mineral hot pool
• Pools with temperatures ranging from 36°C to 41°C
• Cold plunge pool for hot-cold hydrotherapy to detoxify — alternating between hot and cold pools three times is recommended for best results
• Geothermally heated poolside recliners
• Large indoor relaxation lounge overlooking the lake
• Changing facilities with towels, secure lockers, luxurious soap, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryers provided

Family-Friendly Guidelines:

• Children are welcome in the Deluxe Lake Spa.
• Children under 8 must be actively supervised by a caregiver over 16 years old in the water.
• Infants and children under 2 years enter free of charge.
• Diving and jumping are not permitted in this pool area.
• To maintain a peaceful atmosphere, please keep noise levels to a minimum.
