Decaf Coffee Blend

Altura Brazilian decaf uses the Swiss-Water decaffeinating process which is 100% natural.

The Swiss-Water method is the most traditional, as it involves no chemicals.

This decaffeinating process effectively removes a minimum of 97% of caffeine from the green bean to ensure that it can be classed as a true decaffeinated coffee. 

Altura’s fresh coffee has a BBD of 4 weeks placed on it from roast date. This date is a Best Before Date not an Expiry Date, so you can use the coffee after this date, but you may find that the coffee quality/flavour starts to deteriorate the older it gets. 

Ways to help prolong the life of your fresh coffee at home is to only order enough for 2-3 weeks at a time and keeping it in an airtight container, away from direct sunlight, warmth, and moisture when you are not using it.
