A+ Marlborough Chardonnay

This rich Chardonnay has brioche and cr?me brul?e aromas with juicy peach flavours, perfectly integrated subtle oak and an elegant finish. Pair with an organic barbecued smoked chicken for a match made in heaven. Our grapes were harvested from our premium chardonnay producing vineyard in the heart of the Wairau valley. These were crushed and the juice fermented with wild yeast in French oak barriques, which has given the wine complex flavours and interesting textures. The naturally occurring secondary fermentation adds to this complexity giving the wine rich accents of creamy vanilla.
