90 min instructional flight in training device

Ever wondered what it would be like to take the controls of a jet airliner? Well, here’s your chance. You’ll be professionally guided by a pilot in a simulator based upon a Boeing, similar to those operated by Air New Zealand.

Highlights:

• Your experience is from the Captain’s seat of a fixed base flight training device, used by pilots, as a lead-in to full flight simulator (airline) training.
• Choose your own flight departure and destination in New Zealand or 20,000+ other airports around the world, day or night – visual or in cloud flying
• It’s so realistic that you’ll feel like you’re really there!

What's included:

• Your choice of procedural detail – our crew can pitch the level for a 9-year-old, for inspiration, or to an airline pilot for recurrency training.
• Hand fly or learn to use the auto-pilot as the real airline pilots do.
• Any amount of detail and explanations on all aspects of airline flying -  tailor made session, from a ‘fear of flying perspective to a colourful geography lesson in Las Vegas to a Hudson River landing reenactment. We can fly around Sydney or into Queenstown or even a night flight from Heathrow to Paris.
• Bring a friend (or two) FREE and if you wish you can share the flying. We allow filming and photos.
• Boeing cap/Lanyard/Model aircraft & completion certificate

You will receive (by email) a code on a digital voucher and you will be directed to www.jetex.co.nz to redeem your voucher. You can choose from more than 60 different flying slots (appointments). Your voucher is transferable to a friend, as a gift and is valid for 2 years. Jetex standard hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9.00am to 5pm. Appointments outside these times may be available, subject to crew availability. Jetex Flight Simulator is approximately 5 minutes’ drive from Christchurch International Airport.
